Nigo: From Japan with Love

Sale price$45

The first comprehensive book on Tomoaki Nagao, known as NIGO, tracing his path from 1980s Tokyo to global cultural influence as founder of streetwear label A Bathing Ape, artistic director at KENZO, and member of hip-hop group Teriyaki Boyz. Told largely through NIGO's personal archive, much of it published here for the first time: collectible merchandise, vintage garments, music and film ephemera, and printed matter, alongside his more recent turn to pottery and the Japanese tea ceremony. Published to accompany an exhibition at London's Design Museum. Edited by Rachel Hajek and Esme Hawes, with contributions from Pharrell, Johanna Agerman Ross, Tiffany Godoy, and NIGO himself.
